About the role

  • Fight against increasingly complex malware, especially ransomware, whose consequences can be very costly for a company

  • Produce a state of the art on how quantum computing can improve the field of artificial intelligence for cybersecurity

  • Adapt supervised artificial intelligence algorithms to quantum computers

  • Improve the detection rate while keeping control over the necessary computational resources (big dataset)

  • First approach of quantum machine learning to benchmark results and computation times with traditional machine/deep learning

About you

  • Very good mathematical and physical knowledge related to quantum mechanics and artificial intelligence

  • Good level in python on standard libraries (Scikit-learn, tensorflow,...) and knowledge of Qiskit

  • Knowledge of malware or desire to discover the subject

-Good writing skills in French and English

This position is an opportunity for the post-doctoral fellow to mix several research areas (AI, physics and cybersecurity) to participate in a pioneering research topic. Quantum computing is becoming an increasingly important topic in recent years and cybersecurity is one of the highest priority topics of the moment due to the global context. In addition, the postdoc will have the opportunity to work in a stimulating environment with many other researchers from different fields. Attractive remuneration for this position.

In Orange Innovation, the post-doc will be integrated́ within the securitý teams of the IT infrastructure & Services - IT&S domain. The teams are responsible for maintaining a high level of expertise in securitý for the Orange Group combining research and applications for operational entities. They particularly focus on the case of cloud computing security, intrusion detection/protection, strong authentication, cryptography, cyber security and personal data protection (anonymization, traceability, ...). The team is based in Rennes-Cesson-Sévigné on the Orange Innovation "Atalante" site.
