Alice & Bob
At Alice & Bob, we build Universal, Error-free, Quantum Computers to help industries and researchers solve the hardest problems. Until now, errors were the main barrier to impactful quantum computers. Our unique technology of self-correcting superconducting quantum bit, the cat qubit, allows for a much simpler road to fault-tolerant and universal gate-based quantum computing. We are currently developing our first logical qubit out of cat qubit. From there we will use a modular approach to scale up and crush your hardest problems. Get ready!
AMOLF carries out research on the fundamental physics and design principles of natural and man-made functional complex matter. Using this knowledge AMOLF researchers create novel functional materials that provide solutions to societal challenges in renewable energy, green ICT and healthcare. AMOLF is part of the institutes organisation of NWO.
We study quantum algorithms and their applications to problems in natural sciences (physics, chemistry) and practical computing (machine learning, AI, optimization), and methods to make them compatible with near-term quantum devices. Our vision is to make real-world quantum computing practical, and integrate theory, experiment and applications.

C12 Quantum Electrionics
C12 Quantum Electronics develops reliable & application-specific quantum computers, to solve highly complex computing tasks, currently out of reach of even most powerful supercomputers. Building a quantum computer still needs innovators ready to tackle exciting challenges. C12 founders are convinced that only a new material for the qubit will bring a technological breakthrough. C12 Quantum Electronics uniquely uses carbon nanotubes as the fundamental building blocks of its quantum processor. This high-purity material minimizes errors, radically improves performance and reduces hardware overhead for fault-tolerant computing. Combined with well-established semiconductor techniques, carbon nanotubes will help scale quantum computing, just as silicon revolutionized classical computing. Founded in 2020, C12 Quantum Electronics is a fast-growing start-up, having raised a seed round of USD 10 million in June 2021 and building its own lab space in the center of Paris.
